Injuries costly for Killie

Kilmarnock boss Jim Jefferies rued a lengthy injury list among his squad after the 3-1 defeat at in-form Aberdeen.
Killie had only a late Steven Naismith consolation to show for their efforts at Pittodrie, with Jefferies having few complaints.
He said: "When you are coming to a place like this, you can maybe do without one or two players.
"But we have injuries that would cripple any side and we also had Garry Hay suspended and we also lost Peter Levin before the game due to illness.
"That forced us to take a gamble with one or two players who have not yet managed a reserve game after coming back from long-term injuries.
"So to throw these people into a game like this in Aberdeen against a good side is not the best preparation and it was always going to be tough for us."
