Hibs player in drink-driving ban

Hibs defender Darren McCormack has been fined £500 and banned from driving for 12 months after being caught drink-driving in Edinburgh.The 21-year-old pled guilty at Edinburgh Sheriff Court to driving with 172 milligrammes of alcohol in his blood, when the legal limit is 80. The offences took place in John's Place, Duke Street and Leith Walk. Sheriff Margaret Scott heard McCormack, who said he was "extremely remorseful", was stopped on 7 February 2010. .... read more
