Kilmarnock have handed a trial to the highly-rated Queen of the South midfielder Willie Gibson.
The 22-year-old is a former youth team player at Palmerston Park who has become a first-team regular this term.
Gibson has made almost 100 appearances for the first division strugglers, starting 69 games.
Killie boss Jim Jefferies is keen to bolster his squad after watching his side end their three-match winless streak with a 2-1 victory against Falkirk on Saturday.
