Fernandez faces anxious wait

Kilmarnock boss Jim Jefferies fears David Fernandez could face a lengthy spell on the sidelines after the Spanish striker was stretchered off the pitch during Sunday's defeat against Celtic.
Fernandez was caught by Bhoys defender Gary Caldwell four minutes after the break as Killie lost 2-1 to the runaway SPL leaders despite taking the lead.
"David's on crutches and he'll go for a scan on Monday so I couldn't tell you how he is," Jefferies said after the defeat.
"But it's a bad challenge because the player got booked and David is on crutches.
"It's up to the referee to decide and he decided it wasn't bad enough to send him off, it was only bad enough to book him so you have to go along with that."
