Kilmarnock's veteran goalkeeper Alan Combe hailed the club's youngsters after their promising displays in the 2-2 draw with Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
A host of injuries among Jim Jefferies' squad left the likes of Iain Flannigan and Craig Bryson to fill in and they showed up well against the Highlanders.
Combe told The Scotsman: "Because of the number of injuries we had, I would have taken a point before the game, but we could have taken all three.
"The youngsters who came in were different class. Craig Bryson and Iain Flannigan were both very impressive on the ball, hardly ever gave it away and put in a magnificent shift.
"It was all the more impressive because we played a different system that was probably alien to them.
"Jamie Hamill also had a great game, although he was playing out of position and up against Barry Wilson, who is a very good player."
