Calderwood close to Killie job

Jimmy Calderwood looks set to be appointed the new interim manager of Kilmarnock on a short-term deal until the end of the season.
The Scottish Premier League strugglers are on the lookout for a new manager after parting company with Jim Jefferies on Monday.
Queens of the South boss Gordon Chisholm was the early frontrunner for the job, but the Rugby Park club are believed to favour a short-term appointment.
Calderwood has been out of work since leaving Aberdeen last summer.
''I had lengthy meetings with Jimmy Caldwerwood and Gordon Chisholm yesterday," chairman Michael Johnston told BBC Scotland.
"Both were very satisfactory. I've also spoken to a number of other candidates by telephone. There's has been a huge amount of interest in the job from all over Europe.
"The bottom line is we have important games coming up and we are looking to appoint someone in the short-term."
