Calderwood aims to recruit

Kilmarnock boss Jimmy Calderwood hinted at moves into the transfer market after seeing his side held to a goalless draw at Hamilton Academical.

Striker Mark Burchill suffered a hamstring injury during the stalemate at New Douglas Park, with Calderwood admitting that the game had failed to get going.

He said: "We have got to be satisfied with the clean sheet and the point, but I wouldn't like to see 95 minutes of that again.

"It was a poor game and I was raging with the players at half-time, I was trying to get them to pass and move the ball from side to side.

"Mark has a hamstring injury and will be out for a couple of weeks.

"Allan Russell is also out for a few weeks, so we will see about bringing in one or two before Monday."
