Bryson enjoying new style

Kilmarnock skipper Craig Bryson is looking for the Ayrshire side to turn pretty football into points sooner rather later.[LNB] The Rugby Park club have won plaudits this season for their performances under Mixu Paatelainen who took over as boss in the summer.[LNB]However, after eight games they find themselves with just seven points, two above bottom side St Mirren.[LNB]Bryson, looking forward to the visit of Inverness, insists that everything is enjoyable at Rugby Park this season apart from the points tally[LNB]"We are playing a totally different formation," the midfielder said.[LNB]"I don't think a lot of the boys have played it before.[LNB]"We are trying to pass from the back instead of playing the long ball and everyone wants to get on the ball.[LNB]"I think the fans are enjoying it a lot more and I think the players are as well,[LNB]"It's good to watch but we are not getting the results just now because of sloppy goals and it kills you a bit.[LNB]"We have given away sloppy goals but that's up to us to cut it out and hopefully we can do that in the coming weeks and build on that.[LNB]"We have been playing well in every game apart from the first half against Hamilton.[LNB]"We are scoring quite a few so if we keep it tight at the back then we will be okay."[LNB]Bryson insists Terry Butcher's Caley side, who have moved almost unnoticed into fourth place in the table, can provide inspiration for Killie.[LNB]"It gives us hope," he said.[LNB]"We knew when they came up from the First Division that they were a good team.[LNB]"They are a big strong team who work hard and they can cause teams in this league - a lot of problems - and the results have shown that.[LNB]"Our performances have maybe matched a team in fourth place but we just haven't got the results."[LNB]Killie boss Paatelainen is also an admirer of the Highlanders.[LNB]He said: "I am delighted for big Terry and Maurice Malpas, they work very hard with a limited budget.[LNB]"But they have plenty spirit and hence they have carved out results.[LNB]"They are ready to fight for every ball and they have plenty of work rate and endeavour and that's why they are where they are in the table."
