Brown relishes Killie chance
09 Sep 2009 - 14:24:53
On-loan Kilmarnock goalkeeper Mark Brown is determined to try and impress at Rugby Park and secure a permanent move away from Celtic.
The 28-year-old has made just 14 appearances for the Bhoys since joining from Inverness Caley Thistle in January 2007 and is now looking to get his career back on track.
He told the Daily Record: "I'm delighted to be at Killie. It's the final year of my contract at Celtic and this is a chance for me to show what I can do.
"If I do well here then when I go back in January maybe someone will come in with a permanent deal. If not I'll return to Celtic for the final six months and see what happens after that.
"Playing for Killie will give me a chance to show what I can do - it's probably easier for people to come and watch me especially as there is no reserve league this year."
