Brown enjoying Killie chance
26 Nov 2009 - 07:57:35
Kilmarnock loan goalkeeper Mark Brown is enjoying the chance to shine at Rugby Park, having become frustrated with life with Celtic.
The 28-year-old has started nine games for Killie in the absence of the injured Alan Combe and Brown would consider a longer-term stay with Jim Jefferies' side.
He told Sky Sports: "It's been going really great so far. It's a chance for me to get out and actually play some first-team football again.
"I have to see if Celtic are actually willing to loan me out for the second half of the season. At this stage it's a bit up in the air really. As far as I'm concerned I'm just enjoying playing.
"In my time I've had at Celtic I've only played 14 games, so from my point of view the loan has worked out well for me.
"I'm at an age where I really want to be playing. I don't want to be on the bench, sidelines or in the stands.
"I just want to play as many games as I can and if that's away from Celtic, then so be it."
