having previously played for Mansfield , Coventry,Bournemouth , Kidderminster and Leyton Orient , Christie moved to Spotland in January 2006 . Rochdale boss Steve Parkin had worked with Christie while at Mansfield and he was quick to sign the striker after an impressive 2005/06 season when he racked up 13 goals . He had a great debut against Oxford United in February and is set to become a fans favourite very quickly .
