Kidderminister Harriers were formed in 1886 and were founder members of the Birmingham and District League in 1889, but did not win it until 1938. In 1939 they moved to the Southern League but due to Wolrd War 2 they only managed two games.
After the War they rejoined the Southern League before dropping back down into the Birmingham League. They were back to the Southern League by 1970, and in 1983 were promoted to the Conference.
In 1994, Harriers were Conference champions, but were refused promotion due to the Football League's ground regulations. They finished second to Macclesfield Town in 1997 narrowly missing out again on League football. They then finished in the bottom half in each of the next two seasons.
Former Liverpool star Jan Mølby was appointed as manager for the 1999-2000 season, and led the club to the title at the first attempt, beating Rushden & Diamonds by nine points. Since then though, the club has struggled to make a mark in the Football League, and after just five seasons they were relegated back to the Conference.
