Kidderminster Harriers chairman Colin Youngjohns has confirmed that he hopes to persuade director of football Jan Molby to sign an extended contract.
Molby returned to Aggborough following the sacking of Ian Britton in October, agreeing a deal running until the end of the season, but Youngjohns is keen for him to commit his long-term future to the club.
"We have every intention that he can pursue his team-building plans here," he told the Express & Star.
"We are talking informally about a new deal for him now, but that is something we intend to do.
"We have not got round to the nitty-gritty, but that will be on the cards for the next few weeks.
"He works under difficult conditions, but he knows all about the financial constraints that we have to work to and that the most important thing is that the club survives.
"But I am optimistic that with Jan at the helm the club can continue to move forward."
