Jeff kenna started his career with Southampton back in 1991 and made 111 appearances for the club before joining Blackburn where he won the Premiership in 1995 and played in the Champions league the following season and stayed at the club for six years earning 27 caps for the Rep.of Ireland before going on loan to both Tranmere and Wigan. He signed for Birmingham in 2001 and he was the club captain as the club won promotion to the Premiership. He joined Derby in March 2004 and the club narrowly avoided relegation. The following season Kenna captained the club as they almost achieved promotion to the Premiership. He has continued as club captain this season.
