Burr set to bring back big guns

Kidderminster boss Steve Burr is set to recall several first-team regulars for the FA Cup second-round tie against League Two Newport.

Amari Morgan-Smith, Kyle Storer, Lee Fowler, Danny Jackman and Josh Gowling are all expected to come back into the side after sitting out last weekend's FA Trophy defeat at Bradford Park Avenue.

Callum Gittings, Jack Byre, Jamie Grimes, Mickey Demetriou and Aaron Brown, who made his debut in that game, could be the players to make way.

Burr is confident Chey Dunkley will overcome a knock and be fit for the visit of the high-flying Exiles.

Newport have suffered an injury blow ahead of the match with the news that star striker Chris Zebroski may not play again this season.

The former Torquay frontman suffered a large cartilage tear and dislocated his kneecap in their victory over Braintree in the previous round. And having gone under the knife, a return to training is said to be three months away, putting his involvement in the regular League Two season in jeopardy.

But Aaron O'Connor and Max Porter could be fit before the festive period having spent months on the sidelines with groin problems.

Andy Sandell marked his return from injury with the crucial third goal as County beat Chesterfield 3-2 on Sunday. His substitute appearance was his first competitive action since August due to a foot injury and he is set to be involved again.
