After consulting with senior figures at both clubs Baker is confident he has made the right decision "My contract at West Brom didn't expire until the end of the season but I had a chat with a few people in football who gave me a bit of advice," he said. "I had a chat with the manager at West Brom [Tony Mowbray] and I wasn't going to be in his plans at all.
