Thomas certain of Poppies quality

Kettering Town trialist Danny Thomas says that they are a better side than the loss to AFC Wimbledon suggested.The 28-year-old midfielder scored for the Poppies in the 2-1 home defeat to the Blue Square Premier newcomers. Thomas told BBC Radio Northampton: "It's nice to score, but the result overshadows my own personal glory.
