Kettering Town have confirmed caretaker Dominic Genovese as their manager for next season, as the Poppies bid to bounce back into the Nationwide Conference.
The former youth team boss has been in charge at Rockingham Road since the departure of Carl Shutt and Town chairman Peter Mallinger is happy with the appointment.
He told the club's official website: "I am delighted that Dominic has decided to accept the post.
"There will be those who had hoped to see a well-known name appointed, but I am happy to appoint within the club with someone we have known for eight years.
"Dominic understands the club and the problems we still have to face. He knows the players inside out and who he wants to keep for next season.
"He understands what we have been lacking all season and believes he can put together a side that will challenge for the championship."
