Kwesi Appiah and Darren Wrack scored their first goals for Kettering as they beat Gateshead to move into the Blue Square Premier play-off places.On-loan teenager Appiah opened the scoring when he tucked away Jean-Paul Marna's pass after 15 minutes. Former Walsall midfielder Wrack then broke his duck in fine style with a drilled finish from just inside the area five minutes from the interval.
