It's Eze for Kettering Town... well sort of!

HENRY Eze's second minute header was enough to see in form Kettering Town past Daventry United in the Southern League Play Off Semi Final in front of the biggest crowd of the season.

Over 1,400 packed into Kettering's temporary home at Latimer Park, home of United Counties League side Burton Park Wanderers and people were still coming through the gate when Eze rose highest to head home a corner from Andy Gooding.

Despite a number of opportunities to increase their lead in the first half, the hosts were pegged back by their visitors in the second half but the defence held strong to record their tenth consecutive victory, all coming inside the last month.

In the other Semi Final, Slough Town defeated hosts Rugby Town 3-0 thanks to goals from Ed Smith, Jonnie Dyer and Warren Harris.

The Final between two of non-league's biggest names kicks off at 3.00pm on Monday at Latimer Park where the non-league world will be watching with anticipation to see who makes it back to the Southern League Premier Division.
