Defender Andreas Gorlitz has signed a fresh loan agreement to remain with Karlsruhe next season.
The 26-year-old wing-back has been a virtual ever-present at the Wildparkstadion this season, having joined Karlsruhe due to a lack of first-team opportunities at Bayern Munich.
Gorlitz told the club's official website: "I said a couple of weeks ago that I would either return to Bayern or stay here at Karlsruhe.
"I have had the chance to establish myself in the Bundesliga again after all my injuries.
"I feel very much at home here in Karlsruhe and am delighted that the decision has now been made."
Gorlitz won two caps for Germany back in 2004, featuring against Brazil and Iran.
