Becker fears for Karlsruhe

Coach Edmund Becker fears Karlsruhe's slide to the foot of the Bundesliga table could prove too difficult to arrest.

Saturday's 3-2 defeat at Hannover saw them slip to the bottom of the table below Bochum and Borussia Monchengladbach and Becker fears for their top-flight future.

"We showed a reaction after the break but that didn't suffice," he admitted.

"Forty-five decent minutes is not enough to get any points.

"If we don't manage to iron out all the mistakes we keep on making it will be very difficult to crawl out of the bottom places."
