Turin police said Saturday they have identified a supporter who tried to slap Bologna's Marco Di Vaio during Wednesday's match against Juventus.
During a dispute amongst the players right by the stands at the Juventus stadium in Turin, a fan leant over a barrier and aimed a swipe at Di Vaio's head.
The 35-year-old man, who lives in Milan, has been identified through video images matched against those supplied by the supporters' pass, which fans need to follow their team away from home.
The fan now risks a stadium ban.
