Unbeaten run secondary to title, says Marchisio

Claudio Marchisio has set his sights on finishing the season unbeaten with Juventus, but not at the expense of winning the Serie A title.

Juve have not lost in 36 league and cup fixtures this season and lead the scudetto race by a point from AC Milan.

They have six league encounters left before the cup final against Napoli.

And while Marchisio is keen for the Old Lady of Turin to go the whole campaign without a loss, it's the title he really wants.

"It's not finished yet, the winners will be those who keep their nerves, although not just that," he said.

"We need to keep our concentration as we have done so far, but we'll also need a bit of luck. We really want to break the unbeaten run but that would only count if we win at the end."

AC Milan currently hold the longest unbeaten run in Italy, 42 games from April 1992 to March 1993.
