Striker David Trezeguet believes luck was not on Juventus' side when they slumped to a 3-1 defeat at Bari on Saturday.
They now trail leaders Internazionale by six points in the Serie A table.
After the crushing 4-1 defeat against Bayern Munich in midweek that resulted in Champions League elimination, this fresh setback has given manager Ciro Ferrara a further headache.
However, Trezeguet, who scored the Turin-based side's consolation goal in the defeat at San Nicola, believes the performance from Bari goalkeeper Jean Francois Gillet was the difference between the two teams.
He said: "It was a negative result, but this defeat is different to the one on Tuesday.
"Lady Luck was not on our side and their goalkeeper was the man of the match. You only get this type of game once a year and it happened here.
"However, we showed we are rediscovering ourselves and I think we are on the right path. We have a good group of players and we are all behind the coach."
