Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri was content with his side's progress to the group stages of the Champions League at the expense of Artmedia Petrzalka.
A 1-1 draw in Slovakia meant that Juve won through 5-1 on aggregate, with Ranieri pleased with a professional performance.
He commented: "We knew there wouldn't be as many goals.
"Inevitably we tried to control it after that result and had no intention of losing. We tried to win and didn't manage it, but it was a good performance."
Summer recruit Amauri, who scored Juve's goal in Bratislava, added: "Now we have to look forward and concentrate on Serie A. Juve proved they are in good shape both physically and psychologically.
"Now we are officially back in the Champions League and our mentality is to win.
"We'll wait for the draw and of course everyone dreams of lifting that trophy. Now we have the chance to battle for that dream."
