Marchisio seeks improvement

Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio wants his team-mates to learn from last season's mistakes this term. The Old Lady ended the 2009-10 Serie A campaign in seventh place, despite being close to the top of the table for much of the first half of the season and Marchisio wants a vast improvement this time around. "Last season taught me that nothing should be taken for granted," he said. "It taught me that, even if you are a great team and you are among the top places, you must fight to get there. "The first part of 2010 wasn't good. We must do everything possible to start again. Everyone has the desire to re-make themselves and not repeat the mistakes that we committed last year. "The squad has changed little and the new players who have arrived have done well for their clubs. They know how important this club is and how important the season in front of us is. "We are practically all internationals. The team is strong and we must be conscious of it."
