Luca Toni signs for Al-Nasr in Dubai

Dubai's Al-Nasr football club has sealed a one-year contract with Italian striker Luca Toni, it said in a statement Monday without specifying any financial details of the deal.
The veteran frontman will arrive in Dubai on Monday where he joins Walter Zenga, Al-Nasr's Italian coach, and will likely make his UAE Pro League debut away to Ajman on February 9.
The 34-year-old Toni, a member of Italy's 2006 World Cup winning squad who scored 16 goals in 47 international appearances, has played for Bayern Munich and a host of Italian clubs including Fiorentina, Roma, Genoa and most recently Juventus.
