Serie A giants Juventus have turned their attention to Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko ahead of the new campaign.
The Old Lady were keen to land Serbia winger Milos Krasic, but they have cooled their interest in the CSKA Moscow man in preference for the Bosnian, who is keen to leave the Bundesliga outfit.
Speaking to Tuttosport, general manager Giuseppe Marotta said: "Forced to choose between Krasic and Dzeko due to the limits on non-EU players, we'll focus on the striker.
"But it's a difficult negotiation because the Germans don't give up easily and their demands are very high. We count on the will of player."
