Juventus have completed the signing of Werder Bremen's Brazilian playmaker Diego on a five-year contract in a deal worth around 24million euros.
The 24-year-old has been a long-term target for Juve, despite being under contract at the Weserstadion until the summer of 2011.
Diego said after sealing his switch to Turin: "I am enthusiastic and delighted to be a part of such a prestigious club. I have dreamed of this moment since I was a child.
"After an experience in Portugal and in the Bundesliga, I will be able to prove my worth in a high level but difficult competition.
"It is the right time for me to take this important step and I am convinced that at Juventus I will be able to achieve great results.
"I want to focus now on Saturday's DFB-Pokal final.
"I want to leave on a high note because it is thanks to them that I have developed in recent seasons in order to merit this new opportunity."
