Juve loss pressurises Ferrara

Juventus head coach Ciro Ferrara is under renewed pressure after his side were beaten 1-0 at Chievo and dropped down to fifth place in the Serie A table.

A Gennaro Sardo goal sunk Juve at the Stadio Bentegodi, with Ferrara's side suffering a fourth defeat in their last five league games.

Ferrara told Sky Italia after the game: "I cannot know how our directors evaluate the squad, coach and club.

"Everyone needs to examine every option and if they consider the coach to be the problem, then I'm sure they'll come and tell me.

"There have been talks of course over the season, but I have never directly been told that I am a problem.

"If the problem is the coach who cannot get the best out of his players, then I would clearly try to take responsibility for my errors. The club will evaluate and make a judgement."
