Juventus consolidated third place in the Serie A table after coasting to a 3-0 victory over Parma on Wednesday evening.
In a match rearranged after the original encounter was postponed last month following the death of a fan, Juve took an early lead and secured the points with relative ease.
David Trezeguet took advantage of a goalkeeping error to tap the Turin side into a 16th minute lead and further strikes from Raffaele Palladino and a Stefano Morrone own goal completed the scoring.
Parma, who also lost Fernando Couto to a late red card, are now just one point above the relegation zone.
Meanwhile in Wednesday's Coppa Italia semi-final action, holders AS AS Roma secured a narrow 1-0 first leg win over Catania courtesy of Francesco Totti.
In the other semi-final tie, Internazionale and Lazio could not be separated following a goalless draw at the San Siro.
