Juve appoint Zaccheroni

Juventus have named Alberto Zaccheroni as their coach until the end of the season after finally parting company with Ciro Ferrara.

Rumours suggest Juve will bring in current Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez in the summer.

The final straw for the club's board of directors came on Thursday with the Coppa Italia defeat to Internazionale.

Fifty-six-year-old former Udinese boss Zaccheroni has been out of work since he was sacked by Torino in February 2007.

His former clubs also include Lazio, Inter and AC Milan and he won the Scudetto at the latter in 1999.
