Iaquinta commits to Juve

Italy international Vincenzo Iaquinta has penned a contract extension with Juventus which will keep him in Turin for another four years.

The 29-year-old scored 12 goals in the season just ended, with his brace on Sunday in the 2-0 win over Lazio confirming that Juventus finished second in the Serie A table.

"It gives me great pride to have extended my contract with Juventus," he told the club's official website.

"This means that I have done well. Thanks to the club directors who showed faith in me and the fans who always supported and thus considered me an important player."
