Iaquinta blow for Juventus

Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta will miss the opening weeks of pre-season training with a thigh injury.

Iaquinta, 30, injured his thigh during Italy's participation in the World Cup finals and a muscle tear has been revealed following his return to Juve.

The striker missed six months of the last Serie A campaign with a knee ligament injury which required surgery.

However, Juve are confident that Iaquinta will be fit for their opening game of the new season on August 29.
