Ferrara receives Lippi support

Juventus manager Ciro Ferrara has received support from Italy national team boss Marcello Lippi with the Old Lady in the middle of a poor run of form.

Lippi has advised his former pupil to use the experience as a learning curve with Juventus now in sixth place in Serie A and a massive 16 points adrift of leaders Internazionale.

Speaking to 7 Gold, Lippi said: "I fell really sorry for this situation.

"I would advise Ferrara to keep determined and to accept that there can be moments of difficulty in the life of a coach.

"He started really well with Juve, but now there are great displeasures. I hope he gets to enjoy some happy times too."
