Ferrara given vote of confidence

Juventus coach Ciro Ferrara has been given another vote of confidence by the club's deputy director general Roberto Bettega.

Juve's dismal season hit a new low at the weekend when they slumped to a 1-0 defeat at Chievo, their fourth Serie A loss in five games, a result which left them 13 points behind league leaders Internazionale.

However, Bettega remains fully supportive of Ferrara, saying: "We go forward with Ferrara, as we always said.

"He came out smiling from Monday's meeting and this is already an answer. Have we told Ferrara that the problem was him? No, evidently we did not have to tell him that."
