Juventus coach Fabio Capello has played down talk of a row with key midfielder Mauro Camoranesi.
Camoranesi has been substituted by Capello in the last two games, just minutes after taking the field as a replacement himself.
However, Capello insists that the player will soon be back to his best.
He said: "I replaced him because I didn't want to gift our opponents with a possible dismissal. He was certainly nervous and edgy, even if I can't really explain why that is the case as there are no specific problems.
"He'll now go off on international duty where I am sure he will find the tranquility that he needs."
Juve's director general Luciano Moggi has insisted that Capello had no other choice but to replace the winger.
"Camoranesi is not in great form," said Moggi. "He wants to give a lot but things aren't happening for him right now.
"Capello did well to take him off even if it is unfortunate that this has now happened twice to the player."
