Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has ended speculation suggesting that he could leave the club in the summer by pledging his future to the Turin giants.
The 31-year-old had been linked with a number of clubs, including Manchester City, but now insists that he will remain a Juve player.
He told his own personal website: "I think you will have seen things on TV and in the newspapers over the last few days and now I want to make it official - I am not leaving Turin next year.
"My fear wasn't that we wouldn't win next year, but that maybe it would take three or four seasons.
"Everyone at Juve wants to create a positive group that can compete for everything and I am a lot calmer now.
"All that remains to do now is to finish the season as positively as possible."
