Bonucci eyeing Europa comeback

Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci is hopeful that he can shake off a minor leg problem and figure in the club's Europa League third qualifying round first-leg clash on July 29.

Bonucci, who joined the Old Lady from Bari at the start of the month, is positive he can strike a fine partnership with central defender Giorgio Chiellini ahead of the Serie A campaign.

"My objective is to play in the Europa League, we will evaluate my situation a step at a time after training so that I can be in form by the 29th, and for the rest of the season," he said.

"With Giorgio we will have a great partnership. We trained together for la Nazionale. I hope that I can improve for Juventus and Italy."
