Zico bemoans missed chances

Japan produced a poor display in their 2-1 Kirin Cup defeat to Bulgaria on Monday as their preparations for the World Cup finals were dealt a blow.
Portsmouth's Svetoslav Todorov put Bulgaria ahead inside the first minute and, although Seiichiro Maki equalized for Japan in the 76th minute, substitute Hristo Yanev grabbed a stoppage-time winner for the visitors.
"I don't think we deserved to lose," said Japan coach Zico.
"I thought we played well but once again we failed to take our chances and we got punished for it."
