Tried and tested for Michel

15 May 2006 - 14:34:50

Ivory Coast coach Henri Michel has stuck with tried and tested players for his World Cup finals squad.

The bulk of his 23-man party also travelled to the African Cup of Nations in Egypt in January, when the Elephants lost a penalty shootout to the hosts in the final.

The one notable absentee from the squad to take on Argentina, the Holland and Serbia Montenegro in Group C is St Etienne's Siaka Tiene, who has been overlooked in favour of Lille striker Abdoul Kader Keita.
