Ivory Coast midfielder Didier Zokora has a number of Europe's top clubs chasing his signature, as he prepares to leave St Etienne after the World Cup finals.
The 25-year-old defensive midfielder has already been linked with both Arsenal and Manchester United, while Spurs have now been credited with an interest.
Zokora's agent, Franck Belhassen, said: "There is interest from a number of clubs in Didier and Tottenham are one of them.
"At the moment he is away with the Ivory Coast preparing for the World Cup and we will wait until after that before deciding his future.
"We have a deal with St Etienne that he can go this summer for the right price. The World Cup is a very good opportunity for Didier to show clubs what he can do and we will see what happens.
"Tottenham are a very interesting club as they are an improving club with a good manager in Martin Jol.
"There are also big clubs in France and Spain looking at Didier and he wants to play at a good club."
