Totti pleased with comeback

Francesco Totti could play for Italy in this summer's World Cup finals after returning to action on Thursday following three months on the sidelines.

Totti returned from an ankle injury in the second leg of AS Roma's Coppa Italia final clash against Internazionale and, although his side lost the game 3-1 as they suffered a 4-2 aggregate defeat, the playmaker was pleased with his comeback.

"After so much time out, it went well for me out there and that was very important," he said after the game.

"The fans were with us until the very end and that was pleasing."
