Balotelli has only ever made 7 appearances for Italy and scored only once. His form for Manchester City though shows he is capable of providing the goods with 19 goals in 40 appearances for Manchester City.
He is a strong player who's confidence can sometimes get the better of him, but when he just plays the game he is the strongest and most powerful player on the pitch, just what Italy need.
