Football: Italian Ultras turned away at Serbia border

A group of 32 Italian right-wing 'Ultra' fans were turned away at the Serbian border on Friday ahead of the Euro 2012 qualifier between the two countries, Ansa news agency reported.
The Italian fans were trying to enter the country from Croatia but police turned them away as they did not have valid tickets for the match.
The previous game between the two teams in Genoa a year ago was called off after just six minutes after it was disrupted by Serb hooligans.
Several Serb fans were arrested after the game and were condemned to prison terms, although they all struck deals that saw them deported instead.
