Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is confident a betting scandal will not affect his performances at the World Cup finals.
The Juventus shot-stopper was quizzed by magistrates in Parma on Wednesday about alleged gambling improprieties in Serie A, although it is understood he is not suspected of any wrongdoing.
"Now I am truly free to concentrate on the World Cup," said Buffon, after returning to the Azzurri's training camp.
"I have clarified what I needed and I feel much better. It's as though I have taken a big weight off my shoulders."
Buffon also insisted that the corruption scandal that has hit Italian football in the past few weeks had not damaged morale within the national squad.
The 28-year-old added: "They all seem very calm and determined."
