Although relatively inexperienced at international level, Giuseppe is one of very few players to have played in the Premier League, Serie A and La Liga - and all that at the age of just 23.

The former Manchester United forward may have only appeared five times for the Red Devils, but his huge potential led to a £6.6 million move to Spanish side Villareal in 2007.

With a decent goal return for the Yellow Submarine and some impressive performances for Italy in last summer's Confederations Cup, it's clear to see why Sir Alex Ferguson put a buy-back clause in the deal that took him to Spain.
