Wilnis hoping for Town deal

Veteran defender Fabian Wilnis has urged Ipswich Town to offer him a new contract after revealing he wants to play on next season.
The 36-year-old is out of contract at Portman Road at the end of the current campaign but is hoping he has done enough to persuade Tractor Boys boss Jim Magilton to offer him a new deal.
"I will certainly be looking to carry on playing, whether that be here or somewhere else," he told the club's official website.
"If I was struggling to cope at this level then I would have no hesitation in calling it a day but that's not the case.
The hunger is still there. I feel just as excited about playing now as I did when I was 18.
"I still want to push myself on the pitch and feel that I can do a job and I think that has shown on the pitch when I have played this season."
