Walters on target for pre-season

Ipswich Town midfielder Jon Walters is expected to return to pre-season training at the same time as his Portman Road team-mates.The 25-year-old ruptured ankle ligaments at Wolves in March and then aggravated the injury five weeks later. Physio Matt Byard told the club website: "Jon is progressing quite well and will go for a scan [to assess bone bruising] in early June.
